According to the 1920 US Federal Census, Police Jury Ward 10, Natchitoches, Louisiana, (I found this census information on
January 1, 2008 at LDS and Ancestry.com), my great great grandfather, Reno was listed as Rene Beaudion/Reno Blaudoin, age:
72 years, estimated birth year: 1848 (his actual birth year now ranges 1845-1848), birthplace: Louisiana, Head of household, his
spouse's name: Adelide, Marital status: married; Race: Mulatto, male, owned his home; Adelide (Lacour), Age: 58 years,
estimated birth year: 1862, birthplace: Louisiana, Spouse's name: Rene (Reno), Race: Mulatto, female; the children listed in
household were: McKinley, estimated birth year: 1904, Age: 16, Relationship to Head: Son; Rena, estimated birth year: 1906, Age:
14, Relationship to Head: Daughter; Julia Rachal, estimated birth year: 1906, Age: 9, Relationship to Head: granddaughter.
Special note: When I saw this particular census, I again realized that my grandmother, Alberta Rachal's stories to me were being
confirmed again. She told me of the time when her sister, Julia "Aunt Julia", lived with their grandparents, Reno and Adelide for
several years.
Special note: In previous census histories, Adelaide's estimated birth year was 1865. Information that was unknown, which was
gathered from this 1920 census was that we did not know that Reno and Adelide had a daughter by the name of Rena (which
seems was named after him). There is a possibility that this is correct or it could be the name "Lena." I am still researching this.
According to the 1930 US Federal Census, Ward 10, Natchitoches, Louisiana, (I found this census information on January 1, 2008
at LDS and Ancestry.com), Reno was listed as Renaud Beaudoin, Age: 83, estimated birth year: 1847, Head of household, lived on
farm and was a general farmer, Race: Negro; Spouse was listed as: Deloise, estimated birth year: 1847, Age: 66, Race: Negro.
Note: This given name discrepancy of Deloise, has to be Adelide Lacour. Adelide and Reno remained married and in same
household til his death, according to my grandmother.
According to the 1930 US Federal Census, Police Jury Ward 10,
Natchitoches, Louisiana, (I found this information at LDS and Ancestry.com
on January 1, 2008) on the same page as
Renaud Beaudoin/Deloise (Adelaide) (directly below):
McKinley Beaudoin, Age: 24, estimated birth year 1906,

Spouse's Name" Maria, Race: Negro; Maria, Age:23,
estimated birth year: 1907,
Birthplace: Louisiana, Spouse's name: McKinley;
children listed were: James, Thela and Grace.
McKinley is a son
of Reno Beaudoin
and Adelaide (Lacour).
