| 2008 Chicago Creole Conference July 31 - August 2, 2008 Pheasant Run Resort St. Charles, IL |
| The first national conference to explore documenting Creole language and culture has been set for July 31 - August 2, 2008 in the Chicago area. The aim of the conference is to bring together scholars and members of the general public from throughout the U.S. and beyond to share their research findings and family histories. This project is a collaborative endeavor between Northwestern Louisiana State University and the local mid-West representatives. |
