Rainbow Productions presents the 22nd Annual Long Beach Jazz Festival August 7 - August 9, 2009 Long Beach, CA Scheduled performances by: Les McCann Swiss Movement featuring Javon Jackson; Jazz Attack featuring Jonathan Butler, Richard Elliot & Rick Braun; Angie Stone; Ramsey Lewis; Hiroshima; and many others! Everyone in the jazz world is deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Wayman Tisdale, who was scheduled to perform on Friday, August 7, 2009, with Norman Brown, Eric Darius and Gail Jhonson. There will be a special dedication to Mr. Tisdale on Friday, August 7, 2009 at the festival, and the entire festival will be dedicated to this “Gentle Giant” of jazz.
